1. Backups are run at the block level with disk safe verification against internal database. This minimizes impact on servers while backups are running and or restoring. It also greatly increases the integrity of our backups and your data.
2. Your data is backed up daily and kept for up to 10 years, yes 10 years!. These backups are accessible to you through your cPanel control panel. You can restore files and databases and do backups on demand with just a few clicks. This is provided at no extra cost to you.
3.  Backups go offsite directly into a high availability cloud so it is always available to you.
4. Our servers are also backed up as bare metal backups. This means in the event of a catastrophic hardware failure we can restore directly from our backups to a standby server with very little downtime. And yes we always keep a standby server available and hope we will not need to use it, but if we do it is ready.
5. Our backups are encrypted and only we have access to it.
6. The NSA, CIA, and MIA have no jurisdiction to our backups and we cannot be forced into giving them access.
7. Our backup processes are constantly monitored and automatically restarted should they for any reason die.
